April 23, we will start a 9 week small group series going through “Emotionally Healthy Spirituality” by Peter Scazzero.
Group Times: Sundays at 9am or Tuesdays at 6:30pm
“Pete Scazzero helps you discover how emotional health and contemplative spirituality, when interwoven together, offer nothing short of spiritual revolution, transforming the hidden places deep beneath the surface of your life. This [study] will help you discover a slowed down life to cultivate a deep personal relationship with Jesus. Moreover, you will be introduced to key biblical themes that integrate emotional health with spiritual maturity—e.g. finding God in your losses, going back to go forward, and knowing yourself so that you may know God. Join us for a powerful journey…that will change forever the way you love God, others, and yourself.”
Study resources are $30/person.
This cost includes the book “Emotionally Healthy Spirituality” by Peter Scazzero, a daily devotional book, and a workbook.
Join us from 6-8pm in McKenzie Hall for dinner and worship. All are welcome!
March, 2016 we began a new ministry partnership with NorthEast of the Well!
“NorthEast of the Well exists to bring God’s Word into places of desperate need, with a focus on those in recovery and restoration. We aim to provide the opportunity and environment for people to have a life-changing encounter with Christ. We reach out locally, gather in community, and rise up in leadership.” –northeastofthewell.org
We are excited to provide a space for women and families from our neighborhood to gather in!
NorthEast of the Well Bible Study
In addition to Monday night dinner and worship, NorthEast of the Well uses the Griffith House on Friday afternoons for an outreach Bible study with women from the Heritage House. We are happy to be able to support the incredible ministry they do.
