6-Week Small Group Study:
“Jesus the Provocative Teacher”

Wednesdays at 6:30pm, starting on February 14th (in person or on Zoom)

*Our first study will be held on Tuesday, February 13th rather than on Wednesday, February 14th to avoid meeting on Valentine’s Day.

Join us for a 6-week small group study leading up to Easter!  We will be studying, “Jesus the Provocative Teacher” by Bill Donahue.  RSVP at fccaoffice@gmail.com or (714) 776-0960.

“This guide by Bill Donahue presents Jesus as a teacher with unconventional wisdom. This look at Jesus will shatter your illusions about religious leaders. And as you clear your mind, you will find unexpected hope that can replace illusion. Come and meet Jesus the teacher. The Jesus 101 Series engages both mind and heart. The sessions bring a fresh perspective on who Jesus is, how he interacted with people in Scripture and how he relates to us.”

NORTHEAST IN ANAHEIM: WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

“In 2014, NorthEast of the Well was given the opportunity to provide a weekly Bible Study for a women’s county program in Anaheim for women who have children and/or were pregnant. These women were seeking to rebuild their lives from the destructive pattern of addiction, and NorthEast of the Well came alongside these ladies weekly to encourage them in their journey towards recovery. It was our desire to provide a strong foundation for a life of purpose, through belief in Jesus Christ.

In March 2016, we launched Monday night Community Gatherings at First Congregational Church of Anaheim. Multiple local programs/safe houses attend, to benefit from the support and encouragement of a larger community of faith.

Men, women and children along with local churches, volunteers and other program alumni join in together on Monday nights in Anaheim to worship as one body, spurring one another on to God’s promises of NEW LIFE. Join us this Monday!” — www.northeastofthewell.org

Soon, we expanded our outreach into other Safe Houses throughout Anaheim, following the same small group model, each offering biblical guidance and encouragement. This setting continues to be ideal to naturally build relationships, ask real questions and have intimate discussion.

Women’s Fellowship Group

Be sure to check the Calendar for changes to regularly scheduled meetings.

Women from the church gather for a luncheon every other month. Each meeting has a slightly different focus. Sometimes the luncheon includes a project for a local mission or for our church family.  Lunches include devotional time where each woman can enjoy some time to step away from the normal routine of life and reflect on her relationship with God.  Life is better with community, so a large purpose of these lunches is to allow time to get to know each other and enjoy fellowship around the table.  It is a gift to laugh, pray, share and eat with one another.  We would love to see you there!

Our 2024 lunches will occur in the following months: January, March, May, July, September and November.  They are held in the library from 11:30-1:00pm on a Monday.  Sign up for our weekly e-news to get regular updates!
